Here’s how the unique 2-party process works.
Upon Bill of Lading issuance, the shipper receives an OTP (One-Time Password) via email.
The shipper then shares this OTP with their consignee—who is required to present the OTP to the shipping line’s agent for the release of their Delivery Order. No OTP, no Delivery Order.
The OTP acts as a secure code to facilitate the release and delivery of cargo, ensuring that only authorised parties gain access. In so doing, the cutting-edge security feature safeguards the integrity of cargo documentation and assures stakeholders that their cargo information remains confidential.
