The ePlane Company has joined hands with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to revolutionize urban mobility. This partnership aims to leverage the ePlane Company’s innovative compact eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft with TCS’s expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

The ePlane Company is an IIT Madras-incubated startup.

The partnership plans to tackle critical urban challenges like congestion, inefficiency, and environmental impact, offering transformative solutions for sustainable and efficient transportation systems. The ePlane Company will showcase its advanced aircraft designs and cutting-edge technologies, while TCS will apply its digital transformation capabilities to optimize air mobility systems through AI, IoT, and data-driven analytics.

Highlighting the shared vision of both companies, Vishnu Ramakrishnan, ePlane Company said: “Our collaboration with TCS is a significant step towards creating efficient and sustainable electric air mobility solutions, scaling our operations, and accelerating the realization of future-ready transportation.”

The ePlane Company is transforming urban transportation with cutting-edge innovations by developing the e200x, an eVTOL (electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing) aircraft, designed to make intra-city commutes and cargo transport up to seven times faster, alleviating urban traffic congestion. Focused on compact, lightweight, and sustainable mobility solutions, ePlane is redefining the future of urban travel.

As a part of the agreement, both companies will co-develop tailored solutions for TCS clients, conducting product demonstrations, and participating in innovation-focused events such as TCS PacePorts and aim at positioning this partnership as a leader in sustainable air mobility.
