    Export-import activities between Bangladesh and India through the Benapole land port remained suspended since Monday morning (September 18) for Vishwakarma Puja.

    However, the movement of people via the landport remained as usual.

    Benapole Port Acting Director Abdul Jalil said the trade between Bangladesh and India via the land port remained suspended. But, all operations of the customs house including loading and unloading inside Benapole port are normal.

    Benapole Customs Checkpost Cargo Branch Revenue Officer Aziz Khan said export-import through Benapole-Petrapole land ports will resume on Tuesday morning.
