The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) has successfully commenced its five-day Certificate Programme on International Trade, being held from June 15 to 19, 2026, bringing together more than 32 professionals, exporters, start-ups, export executives, and aspiring entrepreneurs from across India.
The programme is designed to enhance participants’ understanding of key aspects of international business, including international trade practices, export market opportunities, the Foreign Trade Policy, export regulations, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), global supply chains, and trade facilitation measures.
The inaugural session featured addresses from senior industry leaders and FIEO officials, including Arvind Goenka, Ajay Sahai, Ashish Jain, Mihir Ajit Shah, and Sunil Dutt.
During the opening session, speakers underscored the importance of capacity building, strengthening export competitiveness, and effectively leveraging FTAs to access new markets, diversify export destinations, and support India’s export growth ambitions.
The first day of the programme also featured a technical session providing participants with a comprehensive overview of the Foreign Trade Policy 2023 and India’s expanding network of FTAs. The session highlighted the opportunities available to exporters through preferential trade arrangements and policy initiatives aimed at enhancing India’s integration with global markets.
The programme reflects FIEO’s continued efforts to equip Indian businesses and entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills required to navigate evolving international trade dynamics and capitalize on emerging global export opportunities.
