MT PRISHA, a newly built IRS class tanker vessel embarks on her maiden voyage to Port Blair, Andaman. The vessel was built by Tisha Navigation Pvt Ltd at their private shipyard at Cochin in association with Central Ministry’s Sagarmala project and is registered with St. Kitts & Nevis. This shallow draft oil tanker ship truly holds all qualities of an internationally built vessel under the immense knowledge of her owners in the maritime industry. Tisha Navigation is part of the Ron Maritime Ltd group having offices in Denmark, Dubai and India.
K P Benny Rohal, Managing Director at Tisha Group, said, “We have introduced large deep-sea fishing vessels in Kerala and the company built a few vessels for our own use and now we have ventured into new buildings and the core business presently is ship management worldwide, small craft building, catering to Europe and Asia and also into energy transport by ships. Two more vessels will be completed by end of 2024.”
“Tisha is a fastest growing brand in medium maritime oil transport and trading since 1980 and has plans to launch six ships by 2030 fulfilling Indian Maritime vision 2030”, added Rohal, who is also a marine engineer by profession and had worked as Chief Engineer in various foreign companies till 1985.
Capt. Sreejith Hari, a tanker Master Mariner and director at Tisha Group holds the helm to their own vessel designs, building and operations along with Teesha B Rohal and Torben Madsen, co-directors at Tisha Group.
