Freightos has signed an agreement with mas, a cargo airline specialising in dedicated freighter operations across Latin America, to expand digital air cargo bookings and simplify payment processes for freight forwarders.
Announced on October 20, 2026, the planned integration will bring mas’s widebody freighter capacity onto the Freightos digital platform, enabling freight forwarders to book and pay for cargo space in real time. The service will initially target forwarders operating in Los Angeles and across Mexico, connecting North American gateways with key destinations throughout Latin America.
The partnership will combine Freightos’s electronic booking system with Freightos Pay, allowing customers to secure main-deck cargo capacity through a streamlined digital workflow. The integrated payment solution is designed to reduce administrative delays and ease cash-flow pressures associated with traditional booking methods, which often involve manual quotations, upfront payments and bank guarantees.
Freightos said the agreement would give freight forwarders faster access to dedicated freighter capacity while providing greater flexibility in managing shipment costs and working capital.
For mas, the partnership offers an additional digital distribution channel to reach freight forwarders in the United States and Mexico. It is also expected to modernise the airline’s commercial processes and make its cargo capacity more accessible to customers seeking reliable connections across Latin American trade lanes.
The integration will support shipments moving between North America and Latin America, providing additional options for businesses transporting high-volume and specialised cargo that requires widebody freighter capacity.
The agreement reflects the growing adoption of digital booking and payment solutions in the air cargo industry. Airlines and logistics technology providers are increasingly integrating pricing, capacity management, booking and payment services to reduce manual processes and improve customer experience.
Once implemented, the partnership is expected to strengthen Freightos’s digital air freight offering in the Americas while expanding mas’s reach among international freight forwarders.
