G R Infraprojects Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Fourwrd MMLP Varanasi Private Limited, has signed a concession agreement with Varanasi MMLP Limited for the development, operation and maintenance of a Multimodal Logistics Park (MMLP) in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

The agreement was executed on October 15, 2026, under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, with a consideration value of ₹91.60 crore, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The project will be implemented on a Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. The construction period is stipulated at one year from the appointed date, while the overall concession period is 45 years, inclusive of the construction phase.

The proposed logistics park is expected to strengthen Varanasi’s logistics infrastructure by facilitating more efficient cargo handling, multimodal transportation and supply chain operations. As an important commercial centre in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Varanasi is strategically positioned to benefit from improved logistics connectivity and infrastructure.

The project also reflects the growing role of private-sector participation in developing India’s logistics infrastructure through the PPP framework. Multimodal logistics parks are intended to integrate different modes of transport and logistics services, helping improve cargo movement efficiency and support regional trade and economic activity.

G R Infraprojects disclosed the agreement in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI) Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements regulations.

The project adds to the company’s infrastructure development portfolio, with the proposed Varanasi MMLP expected to contribute to the region’s evolving logistics network once operational.
