Gujarat is positioning itself as a crucial link in the global semiconductor demand-supply chain, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said on Wednesday at the inauguration of the ‘Gujarat SemiConnect Conference’ at Mahatma Mandir.

Highlighting the state’s proactive approach, Patel emphasized that Gujarat was the first in India to introduce a dedicated semiconductor policy to attract investments in the sector.

“Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat is preparing to play a pivotal role in the global semiconductor industry,” he stated.

Patel further underscored Gujarat’s growing appeal as a hub for semiconductor manufacturing, attributing it to the state’s cutting-edge infrastructure and industry-friendly policies.
