Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi has invited Japanese textile companies to explore manufacturing and investment opportunities at the PM MITRA Park in Navsari, as India seeks to strengthen textile industry partnerships with Japan.

Addressing a roundtable meeting with more than 35 Japanese textile companies in Tokyo, Sanghavi highlighted Gujarat’s integrated textile value chain, port connectivity and industrial infrastructure, positioning the state as a potential hub for textile manufacturing and investment.

He emphasised the opportunities available across the textile value chain, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5F vision — Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign.

The engagement is expected to support stronger India–Japan cooperation in the textile sector and encourage Japanese companies to consider investment opportunities at PM MITRA Parks, contributing to manufacturing growth and international trade.
