    German ocean carrier Hapag-Lloyd has announced an equipment imbalance surcharge (EIS) from Türkiye to North Europe.

    The EIS of €300 (US$334) per container will apply to all dry equipment and will be effective from 7 October until further notice.

    North Europe includes Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Norway, Finland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Estonia, Iceland and Luxembourg.
