Honda’s Power Products Operations and Motorcycle divisions have chosen BuyCo to expedite their container shipping processes. Honda can now quickly obtain shipping schedules from its carriers by utilising BuyCo’s vast ocean carrier network, and choose the best choice based on factors including CO2 emissions, cost, ETA, and allocations.

Due to the booking being submitted directly from the platform, Honda is able to save working time for reservations. In addition, BuyCo offers Honda strong KPIs to optimise inventories, streamline processes, and save costs. By continuously monitoring CO2 emissions, Honda is able to reduce its carbon footprint. It can also cut costs by utilising detention and demurrage tracking and notifications.

According to Mathew Elenjickal, founder and CEO of FourKites, the partnership helps customers improve the management of ocean shipping and react quickly to drive agility and adapt to such disruptions.

Carl Lauron, CEO at BuyCo, stated that they are thrilled to partner with FourKites and extend their support to Honda, delivering an efficient supply chain solution, all while supporting their carbon reduction goals.
