Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO) and RITES Ltd., a transport consultancy and engineering sector in India, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for various infrastructure project. Through this agreement, RITES and HUDCO will work together to carry out a wide range of infrastructure-related consulting projects and services, from idea to commissioning.
In addition to metro rail, roads, airports, ports, ropeways, highways, underpasses and flyovers, tunnels, and other expansive domains, the collaboration between the Navratna CPSEs has focused on emerging sectors like energy, water resources and hydropower, wastewater and waste management, urban and industrial building design, commercial and institutional projects, and other initiatives related to urban development and infrastructure.
