Subic Bay International Terminals (SBITC), a subsidiary of International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI), has launched a new service between the Philippines and China.

Macrocean International Shipping operates the CX1 service, which makes weekly visits to SBITC and Manila International Container Terminal to give manufacturers and merchants in Northern and Central Luzon quick and efficient access to important Chinese ports.

This comes 10 months after SBITC introduced a new service to improve connections between the Port of Subic, South China, and Vietnam.

The service sails through the following ports: Manila North Harbor – Subic – Xiamen – Shihu – Weitu

In March, ONE announced it would start to call at Subic Bay on its China Thailand Philippines (CTP) service.
