NITI Aayog has unveiled its document ‘Vision for Viksit Bharat @ 2047: An Approach Paper,’ which sets out India’s strategic roadmap to sidestep the Middle-Income trap, enhance manufacturing, and improve logistics. This critical document was a focal point in NITI Aayog’s ninth Governing Council meeting, presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to the document, India must achieve a balance between energy security, access, affordability, and sustainability. Enhancing industrial competitiveness is essential for transitioning the agricultural workforce into an industrial one and transforming India into a global manufacturing and service hub.

The Aayog emphasized that India’s vision for the future requires collective effort from the entire nation, highlighting that the 21st century could mark India’s rise as a dominant global power.
