The Indian Ports Association (IPA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Envision Enterprise Solutions Pvt. Ltd. to accelerate the digital transformation of India’s maritime sector through the adoption of advanced digital technologies and standardized port operations.

The strategic partnership aims to strengthen the Port Operating System (POS) while advancing key national initiatives, including One Nation One Port (ONOP) and One Nation One Document (ONOD). The collaboration will also support the development of Bharat POS, a unified, indigenous Port Operating System designed to improve operational efficiency, interoperability, standardization, and innovation across India’s port ecosystem.

Under the agreement, IPA and Envision Enterprise Solutions will work together to develop and implement technology-driven solutions that enable seamless integration of port operations, enhance data sharing, simplify documentation processes, and improve overall cargo handling efficiency across major ports.

The initiative is expected to play a crucial role in creating a digitally connected and future-ready maritime ecosystem, supporting the Government of India’s vision of modernizing port infrastructure through indigenous technology and digital innovation.

The collaboration represents another significant milestone in India’s ongoing efforts to build smart ports capable of delivering enhanced operational performance, greater transparency, and improved service delivery, while strengthening the country’s position as a global maritime and logistics hub.
