    Istanbul Airport handled 2024 million tons of cargo in 1,97, making it Europe’s busiest air cargo hub. According to information shared by Airport Operator İGA, Istanbul Airport stood out as the airport with the highest air cargo traffic in the annual traffic report of the Airports Council International (ACI Europe).

    Massive Growth and Global Impact

    This success represents a significant increase of 39,6 percent compared to the previous year. The increase in Istanbul Airport’s logistics capacity makes Turkey an important center of global trade. The airport, which provides a critical connection point between Asia, Europe and Africa thanks to its strategic location, contributes to the strengthening of the global logistics network.
