Kandla International Container Terminal (KICT) has achieved a record-breaking performance, handling an all-time high throughput of 60,708 TEUs in October 2025, marking its highest-ever monthly performance since inception and crossing the 60,000 TEU milestone for the first time.

The terminal’s achievement underscores the growing efficiency, collaboration, and capacity of the KICT ecosystem, driven by strong support from the Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) and active engagement from shipping lines, trade partners, and customers.

KICT management expressed gratitude to the Deendayal Port Authority for its continued support, guidance, and operational facilitation. The company also extended thanks to its customers, shipping lines, vendors, and service providers for their consistent cooperation and confidence.

“This milestone is a reflection of collective effort and teamwork — from the on-ground operations crew and planning teams to leadership driving innovation and excellence every day,” the terminal said in a statement.

With the record performance, KICT reaffirmed its commitment to delivering seamless operations and fostering stronger partnerships to sustain its growth trajectory.
