Kaushalya Logistics reported handling over 3 lakh metric tonnes (MT) of cement in January 2026, marking a strong operational milestone and underscoring its expanding footprint in the bulk logistics segment.
The company recorded a robust 63 per cent year-on-year growth in cement volumes compared to the same month last year, reflecting rising demand from infrastructure, real estate and industrial projects across key markets.
Kaushalya Logistics said the growth was driven by improved fleet utilisation, streamlined warehouse operations and stronger partnerships with leading cement manufacturers. The company has been focusing on enhancing multimodal connectivity and optimising turnaround times to improve supply chain efficiency.
Industry analysts note that the sustained uptick in cement movement aligns with increased construction activity and government-led infrastructure projects. Efficient bulk handling and distribution remain critical as producers aim to maintain steady supply amid fluctuating regional demand.
Company officials indicated that investments in technology-enabled tracking systems and capacity augmentation have helped manage higher cargo volumes without compromising service timelines. Kaushalya Logistics plans to further scale operations in the coming quarters to capitalise on growing cement dispatch requirements nationwide.
The January performance sets a positive tone for the remainder of FY2026, with the company targeting continued volume growth and expanded client engagements in the cement logistics space.
