The aim of this park to be built on 132 acres of land is to improve the facilities of goods storage, distribution, and transportation. 40 percent of the land acquisition work has been completed near the expressway in Nasirpur area. The administration said that after the acquisition of the remaining land, construction work will be started by Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Authority (UPIDA). This project will be connected to Jewar airport and Dedicated Freight Corridor of Delhi-NCR, which will give great benefit to the industry.
Meanwhile to promote the industry in firozabad, many types of facilities will be provided in the logistics park to be built in Nasirpur area. In this, along with creating a smooth system of industrial supply chain, a high-tech storage and distribution center will be built. Better planning for goods transportation and material and product management for industries will also be given special attention. The glass industry and traders will get special benefits from the construction of the logistics park.
The construction of the logistics park will make the supply chain of glass industry products faster and cheaper. This will reduce the production cost and increase competition in the international market. district Magistrate Vishu Raja said that at present the process of land acquisition for industrial activities is going on in Nasirpur area. The acquired land will be developed as per the work plan operated under the UPDA Authority. After the land acquisition process is completed, the plan for construction of the logistics park will also be submitted to UPDA. firozabad is very famous for the glass bangle industry.
