    Danish ocean carrier Maersk has announced a port swap on its SAECS/SRX service, effective from 28 October.

    Maersk said in its statement that “as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance service efficiency and reliability, we will swap the London and Rotterdam ports on our SAECS/SRX service.”

    Current Rotation: Port Elizabeth, Coega (South Africa) – Durban (South Africa) – Cape Town (South Africa) – Rotterdam (The Netherlands) – London Gateway (UK) – Bremerhaven (Germany) – Algeciras, APMT (Spain) – Algeciras, TTIA (Spain)

    New Rotation: Port Elizabeth, Coega – Durban – Cape Town – London Gateway – Rotterdam – Bremerhaven – Algeciras, APMT – Algeciras, TTIA

    “This adjustment is being made to optimize our operational efficiency and improve the overall service experience for our customers,” noted Maersk.
