The Maritime Association of Nationwide Shipping Agencies – India (MANSA) successfully conducted its 47th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 19, 2025, at the prestigious Royal Bombay Yacht Club. The event witnessed an impressive turnout of stakeholders from across the maritime and shipping ecosystem, including industry leaders, representatives of regulatory bodies, allied associations, members, past presidents, and other distinguished luminaries.

In his presidential address, MANSA President Mr. Sanjay Dalvi set the tone for the deliberations by highlighting the critical need for the shipping fraternity to adopt technology-driven solutions and sustainable practices. He underscored that embracing innovation not only ensures competitiveness and efficiency but also serves as a responsibility towards the environment and the broader society.

“Technology adoption will help us unlock new efficiencies, while sustainability is our payback to the shipping community and society at large,” Mr. Dalvi said, urging members to view these twin priorities as essential for the industry’s growth and future resilience.

The AGM also provided a platform for members to review the association’s initiatives over the past year, exchange insights on regulatory and policy developments, and deliberate on strategies to strengthen the role of shipping agencies in India’s maritime growth story.

With India’s shipping sector playing a vital role in facilitating international trade, MANSA reaffirmed its commitment to act as a bridge between its members, government authorities, and global stakeholders in navigating challenges and fostering opportunities.

The evening concluded with networking interactions, celebrating MANSA’s enduring legacy of service to the industry and its forward-looking vision to align with global maritime trends.
