    Dakshin Bharat Gateway Terminal (DBGT) welcomed the arrival of M.V. MSC ROBERTA V, the longest vessel in the year 2024 with a length of 294.5m to dock at VOC Port, Tuticorin on 15 Aug 2024. This achievement underscores DBGT’s continued commitment to excellence in port operations and its ability to accommodate increasingly larger vessels. The occasion was marked with an inaugural ceremony held onboard the vessel, showcasing DBGT’s capability to handle large-scale vessels efficiently.

    Previously, the title of the longest vessel handled at DBGT was held by M.V. MSC PETRA, which berthed on 13 May 2022, with a length of 299.95 meters. The arrival of M.V. MSC ROBERTA V this year, further cements DBGT’s position as a leading terminal in the region.
