Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) India Private Limited has achieved a significant milestone by successfully transporting IndianOil’s first crude oil cargo sourced from the United States on a Free on Board (FOB) basis.
The cargo was carried aboard MT LIBRA TRADER, an Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IndianOil) time-chartered vessel owned and operated by MOL India Private Limited. The successful execution of this landmark voyage highlights the company’s operational excellence, reliability, and expertise in managing critical energy shipments.
The achievement marks an important step in India’s evolving crude oil procurement strategy, with FOB purchases providing greater flexibility and control over shipping logistics.
