    Ms. Gitika Pandey has been appointed as Additional Member (Planning), Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, marking another significant leadership appointment in the Indian Railways system.

    A distinguished officer of the 1990 batch of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), Ms. Pandey brings decades of experience in public finance, railway administration, governance, and institutional leadership. Over the course of her career, she has held several key positions across Indian Railways, demonstrating strong administrative and strategic capabilities.

    Among her notable assignments, she served as Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Jodhpur Division and as Principal Financial Advisor at North Western Railway, where she played an important role in financial planning, operational management, and policy execution.
