Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced that the Far East – Baltimore service will be resumed on its Empire Service beginning with the YM TRUST trip number 422E.

This trip is scheduled to call Yantian on 28 May, with an ETA in Baltimore on 13 July.

The service was suspended due to the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, on 26 March.

    The rotation will return to:

    Yantian – Xiamen – Ningbo – Shanghai – Busan – New York – Norfolk – Baltimore – Colombo – Tanjung Pelepas

MSC noted that bookings to Baltimore are therefore open for acceptance, subject to space availability.

Recently, the Dali containership was removed from the remains of the Francis Scott Key Bridge after 55 days.
