The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is working with India Exim Bank to develop an online portal, incorporating the features of International Market Intelligence Dissemination (IMID) component of International Cooperation (IC) Scheme.

This information was provided by Minister of State for MSME, Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma in a written reply to the Lok Sabha on Thursday.

The IC Scheme of Ministry of MSME has added a new component ‘Framework for International Market Intelligence Dissemination (IMID)’.

Under IMID component, a National Resource Database System – Global Market Intelligence System for MSMEs is provisioned.

This system is to act as a central knowledge repository of export related data on foreign markets, provide simplified information on trade statistics, market access issues, export potential indicators and information on tenders and procurements globally, said the Minister.
