    A new chapter began at the New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) with Shri Sushil Kumar Singh, IRSME, assuming charge as its Chairman.

    On his arrival, Shri Singh was accorded a warm welcome by senior port officials, representatives of trade unions, port users and other key stakeholders. The reception reflected a strong spirit of collaboration and a shared commitment to strengthening operational excellence, driving growth and advancing the port’s sustainable development agenda.

    With his extensive experience in the Indian Railways and infrastructure sector, Shri Singh is expected to play a key role in enhancing efficiency, improving connectivity and positioning New Mangalore Port as a more competitive and future-ready maritime gateway.
