    Nexgen Logistics, operating under the brand name Garudavega, announced the appointment of Satish Lakkaraju as its Chief Executive Officer.

    Lakkaraju brings over three decades of experience to Nexgen Logistics. Most recently, he served as the Senior Vice President and Global Head of Air Freight and Pharma at Wiz Freight. His career includes key leadership roles at TNT Skypak, AFL and Dachser India, according to an official release from Nexgen Logistics. Prior to his role at Wiz Freight, Lakkaraju served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Agility Logistics for six years.

    Lakkaraju also serves on the board of the Air Cargo Forum of India (ACFI), holding the position of Vice Chairman for Knowledge and Research, says the release.

    “Satish Lakkaraju’s appointment marks a new era for our company. His extensive experience and visionary leadership will be instrumental in our journey to become India’s premier logistics solution provider.”

    Lakkaraju adds: “I am excited to lead NexGen Logistics into its next phase of growth. Our focus will be on leveraging technology, enhancing our service portfolio and expanding our reach to serve the evolving needs of Indian businesses in the global market.”
