According to a report, NIA is positioning itself as a complementary gateway to Delhi, targeting freight forwarders, exporters and air cargo operators seeking alternatives to congestion-related delays. The airport is expected to support the growing demand for airfreight services in northern India and strengthen supply chain resilience for time-sensitive shipments.
Logistics providers, including Triton Logistics & Maritime, are exploring opportunities linked to the new cargo hub as businesses look to diversify their airfreight options. Industry participants believe the additional capacity could help improve transit times, reduce bottlenecks and enhance connectivity for manufacturers and exporters across the region.
