The Ocean Alliance has expanded the port rotation of its BEX2 Mediterranean–Far East service by adding Mersin in Turkey to its schedule, strengthening connectivity for eastern Mediterranean and Turkish cargo flows on the Asia–Europe trade lane.

Operated by CMA CGM and routed via the Suez Canal, the BEX2 service now links a broader set of ports from Beirut, Alexandria and Tripoli through Mersin before continuing to Jeddah, Port Kelang, Ningbo, Busan, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Singapore and back to Beirut.

This change is expected to enhance regional coverage in the eastern Mediterranean while maintaining direct access to major Asian hubs, supporting both import and export demand across the network.
