Ocean Network Express (ONE) has expanded its service network with the introduction of a new port call at Durres, Albania, strengthening its presence in the Adriatic and wider Southeast European market. The addition is aimed at improving connectivity for customers shipping to and from Albania and neighbouring hinterland regions.
The Durres call will be integrated into ONE’s existing Mediterranean network, providing feeder links to major transhipment hubs and onward connections to Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. ONE said the move will offer shippers more reliable schedules, improved transit times, and enhanced access to its global liner services.
The expansion reflects ONE’s strategy of selectively adding regional port calls to support growing trade flows and improve network flexibility. Local exporters and importers are expected to benefit from better service options as containerised trade in the Adriatic region continues to develop.
