Ocean Network Express (ONE) has issued an official customer advisory after a fire incident occurred on board the ONE Henry Hudson, prompting emergency response measures and heightened operational protocols.

According to the company, the fire was detected in one of the cargo holds while the vessel was en route on its scheduled service. The crew acted swiftly, deploying onboard firefighting systems in accordance with safety procedures. ONE confirmed that all crew members are safe and that the situation has been brought under control.

The vessel is currently being directed to a safe port where a detailed damage assessment and further inspections will be carried out. ONE has initiated its incident management procedures and is coordinating closely with relevant authorities, port officials, and emergency response teams.

Customers with cargo on board have been advised that delays are expected, and further updates will follow once a full evaluation of the vessel and affected containers is completed.

ONE stated that ensuring the safety of its crew, vessel, and customer cargo remains its highest priority and that it is committed to transparent communication as the situation progresses.

More updates are expected in the coming days as investigations continue.
