Software solutions company, OneStop, has announced a strategic partnership with the Port of Newcastle to transform containerised freight operations.
OneStop Modal and Vehicle Booking System (VBS) solutions will be put into place at the port starting on 5 August aiming to enhance container handling coordination, improve turnaround times, and integrate seamlessly with existing logistics processes.
The supply chain ecosystem’s sustainability, efficiency, and economic growth are the three main goals of this partnership.
The company reported that its VBS will minimise truck waiting times and reduce bottlenecks, ensuring smooth container flow and boosting productivity.
OneStop explained that its technology will efficiently manage and schedule vehicle movements, alleviating congestion within the port and surrounding transport networks. This will result in faster and more reliable freight transit.

In May, OneStop announced a partnership with DP World to foster innovation and efficiency at DP World’s container park on Fisherman Island in the Port of Brisbane.
