Oslo Airport is broadening its reach by introducing a fresh cargo connection. Starting September 4, Hong Kong Air Cargo will initiate a weekly flight service between Hong Kong and Oslo. This new connection signifies a significant enhancement in trade and transportation links between Norway and Asia.
“We are very pleased to welcome Hong Kong Air Cargo to Oslo Airport,” says Eva Beate Lande, Cargo Director at Avinor. “This route provides Norwegian exporters, especially in the fisheries sector, with a fast and reliable transport route to Asia, enhancing our competitiveness in the global market.”
The establishment of a new link to one of the globe’s biggest economic centers provides Norwegian exporters with entry into fresh markets. This development is set to enhance trade and fortify economic relationships between Norway and Asia. Specifically for the fisheries industry, it signifies a quicker, more effective pathway to Asian markets, potentially elevating the quality of goods upon their arrival.
Moreover, the introduction of this new cargo route will expand the variety of services available at Oslo Airport. This expansion promotes greater stability and lessens susceptibility to fluctuations in the market. With additional transportation alternatives, Norwegian businesses are more prepared to tackle worldwide challenges.
