    Port of Hamina-Kotka, Finland handled in September (as of Oct 3) 645 073 tons of export cargo, including dry and liquid bulk, sawn goods, wood pulp, paper, general cargo. The volume of exports handled at the combined port in January-September reached 6 981 343 tonnes, which is a 6,7-percent growth year-on-year, the port statistics showed.

    Imports handled last month totaled 262 173 tonnes. Nine-month volume of imports dropped 16,5% to 3,6 million tonnes.

    Since January through September total traffic was down 1,5% to neary 9,9 million tonnes.

    Transit traffic in January-September rose 26,7% year-on-year to 2 325 037 tonnes. Container volume was 474 032 TEU (+9,4%). Vessel calls in the reporting period fell 5,2% to 1 596 units.
