Posspole Pvt Ltd has inked a MoU with the Karnataka Maritime Board (KMB) to improve the maritime ecosystem in Karnataka. The idea of this partnership is to apply IT solutions and environmentally friendly approaches to multiple aspects of marine structures and activities such as sea ports and fishing harbours, coastal tourism, and recreational facilities. Some of them include port modernisation, conservation and restoration of such ecosystems as coral reefs, and technology in marine uses.

Through automated technology and infrastructure changes, the partnership seeks to maximise port operations while reducing their negative effects on the environment. To save marine life, it also promotes sustainable practices including community involvement and environmentally friendly technology.

The CEO & Co-founder of Posspole, Kiran Rudrappa spoke about Posspole developers’ dedication to applying technology for sustainable development of the maritime sector to bring a positive change for naval infrastructure development in Karnataka to boost economic development.

Jayaram Raipura from Karnataka Maritime Board Chief Executive Officer added the importance of partnership to solve maritime problems using technologies and the start-up culture of Bangalore.

This initiative goes hand in hand with major progress toward sustainable and efficient maritime development in Karnataka, which will ensure better economic development along with care for the environment.
