Prolog India has successfully completed the transportation of a major Over-Dimensional Cargo (ODC) consignment from India to Oman under Ex-Works (EXW) terms, demonstrating its capability in handling complex project logistics from origin pickup through to final delivery.
The shipment involved 650 freight tons spread across nine packages, including six oversized cargo units measuring more than 28 metres in length. The movement required extensive planning, specialized transportation equipment, and coordinated execution across multiple logistics stages.
As part of the EXW scope, Prolog India managed the entire logistics chain, including factory pickup, inland transportation, port handling, customs clearance, vessel operations, and ocean freight. The company conducted detailed route surveys, engineering assessments, and cargo-handling studies to ensure the safe movement of the extra-long cargo units.
The project was executed through close coordination with transport authorities, port operators, surveyors, and vessel stakeholders, enabling the cargo to be transported safely and within the planned schedule.
The successful shipment highlights Prolog India’s expertise in integrated project logistics and ODC transportation, reinforcing its ability to manage large-scale and technically challenging cargo movements across international markets.
According to the company, the operation reflects its commitment to delivering end-to-end logistics solutions while ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability throughout the supply chain.
