This award comes from the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India, as part of the highly-competitive Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme announced on September 4. This initiative aims to enhance self-reliance in battery production while reducing the country’s reliance on imports.

    Following the announcement, a shortlist of five companies has been created based on their rankings within the bidding process, including:
