Sallaum Lines, a global provider of RoRo-off shipping services, has launched operations at the Port of Brunswick.

With the inaugural call of the Silver Soul, Switzerland-based Sallaum Lines has added Brunswick to its Atlantic network connecting Europe, North and South America, and Africa — advancing its strategy to grow along the US East Coast.

Sam Awad, Vice President of Sales and Operations for Sallaum Lines, said: “This expansion aligns with our growth strategy and commitment to delivering reliable services to our clients in the US and Africa. Brunswick’s strategic location and robust infrastructure make it an ideal addition to our global network.”

Flavio Batista, Georgia Ports Authority Chief Commercial Officer, stated: “The addition of Sallaum Lines will enhance Brunswick’s position as a key hub for RoRo services on the US East Coast.”

Sallaum Lines operates a fleet of eight modern Pure Car & Truck Carriers and has transported over 4 million Car Equivalent Units (CEUs) globally.

Six additional vessels are set to join the fleet by 2027.

In March, the Port of Brunswick has handled an all-time record of 91,360 units of RoRo cargo, up 18 per cent or 14,125 units compared to the same month last year.
