    China remains India’s primary import source, witnessing a 9.8 percent year-on-year increase to USD 65.89 billion in the April-October period of this fiscal year, according to commerce ministry data.

    Conversely, India’s exports to China decreased by 9.37 percent, totaling USD 8 billion. Meanwhile, the US has emerged as India’s top export destination, with exports growing by 6.31 percent to USD 47.24 billion over the same period.

    Russia, the UAE, and other nations also feature prominently among India’s top import sources. Notably, imports from Russia climbed by 8.85 percent and from the UAE by 55.12 percent. Exports to the UAE increased by 15.86 percent, underscoring evolving trade patterns amid favorable agreements.
