Shreeji Shipping Global Limited has successfully executed its first coal transshipment operation at the AMNS Hazira Jetty, marking a significant milestone in the company’s maritime logistics journey.
The operation involved the discharge of coal cargo from a mother vessel berthed at Hazira, followed by the transfer of the cargo to a Shreeji-owned transshipment vessel. The cargo was then transported through the Tapi River to Magdalla Jetty in Surat, creating an efficient logistics link between a major port facility and a minor port.
According to the company, the successful movement demonstrates the potential of coastal and riverine shipping solutions to enhance cargo flow while reducing overall logistics costs for industry stakeholders. The operation highlights the growing role of integrated maritime transport in supporting efficient supply chain management.
Shreeji Shipping credited the achievement to meticulous planning, close coordination among operational teams, and seamless execution both ashore and at sea. The company noted that the milestone strengthens its maritime capabilities and reinforces its commitment to delivering innovative, reliable, and cost-effective logistics solutions.
The successful transshipment operation represents an important step in Shreeji Shipping’s growth strategy and underscores its expanding role in India’s evolving coastal shipping and logistics ecosystem.
