    Haldia Dock Complex (HDC), a key component of Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata (SMPK), marked a significant leadership transition with Shri Jayasimha Ambour taking charge as Managing Director on 19 January 2026.

    A seasoned professional with wide-ranging experience in the maritime and port sector, Shri Ambour’s appointment is expected to further strengthen HDC’s operational efficiency and long-term growth strategy.
