In a significant move to bridge the gap between academia and industry, Softlink Academy, the skill development arm of Softlink Global, has partnered with SIES School of Business Studies (SIESSBS) to launch a Post Graduate Diploma in Logistics. The program is designed to equip students with practical skills and prepare them for real-world logistics challenges.

A standout feature of the program is the integration of Logi-Sys, Softlink Global’s flagship logistics software, into the curriculum. This ensures students gain hands-on experience with industry-grade technology, fostering competencies required for modern supply chain and logistics operations.

Recently, SIESSBS hosted LogiTalks 2025 – Logistics Conclave & Expo, which saw participation from over 70 logistics professionals, industry leaders, academicians, and students. The event revolved around the theme “Logistics Transformation through Technology, Talent & Collaboration.” Amit Maheshwari, Founder and CEO of Softlink Global, participated in a panel discussion, sharing insights on the transformative role of technology, the importance of collaboration, and nurturing skilled talent for the future of logistics.

Speaking on the collaboration, Amit Maheshwari said: “Through our partnership with SIES, we aim to equip students with practical skills and industry-relevant knowledge. By incorporating Logi-Sys into the curriculum, we are giving them the tools and confidence to succeed in the modern logistics landscape.”

From SIESSBS, a spokesperson added: “The industry-academia linkage with Softlink Global for the Post Graduate Program in Logistics Management (PGPLM) brings real-time experience of cutting-edge logistics IT solutions into management education. This linkage equips students with hands-on exposure to logistics IT systems, fostering the skills and digital mindset essential for driving digital transformation in the logistics sector.”

Softlink Academy’s programs, LogiLEARN and LogiSKILL, will provide candidates with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience through the Logi-Sys ERP platform. Training will cover key areas such as documentation, customs processes, finance operations, and system-based logistics workflows, preparing students comprehensively for careers in logistics and supply chain management.

This collaboration reflects a strong commitment to strengthening logistics education, advancing industry-academia partnerships, and shaping the next generation of supply chain professionals.
