The logistics and supply chain software provider Softlink Global announced the launch of the Logi-Sys Certification Programme, a first-of-itskind programme designed to address the critical skills gap in the logistics industry.

The Logi-Sys Certification Programme is an 8-week course with a well-rounded curriculum that totals 45 hours of focused training. It is designed to imbue logistics professionals with proficiency in crucial industry-specific software for freight forwarding, transport management, customs & compliance, sales & CRM, invoicing, and financial accounting.

The programme was launched in partnership with the University of Mumbai’s Garware Institute of Career Education and Development, adding academic gravitas to this industry-relevant initiative.

“The logistics industry is grappling with a widening skills gap, as technological advances and global trade complexities have dramatically reshaped the sector,” said Amit Maheshwari, founder and CEO of Softlink Global. “The Logi-Sys Certification Programme is our unique solution to this challenge. We are committed to crafting a skilled logistics workforce that can help the industry thrive in the years to come.”

The Logi-Sys Certification Programme is open to all logistics professionals, regardless of experience level. It is designed to be highly practical and hands-on, with participants gaining real-world experience using Softlink Global’s Logi-Sys software.

Upon completion of the programme, participants will receive a certificate from Softlink Global and the Garware Institute of Career Education and Development. This certificate will demonstrate their proficiency in the essential software tools and skills needed to succeed in the logistics industry.

“We are excited to offer this unique certification programme to logistics professionals around the world,” said Maheshwari. “We believe that the Logi-Sys Certification Programme will play a vital role in bridging the skills gap and elevating the trajectory of the logistics industry, “he added.

Softlink Global plans to make the programme available online within the next 2-3 years, to ensure it reaches a wider audience of logistics professionals looking to upskill. The company also plans to expand the curriculum to include modules on Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Automation, to fully prepare professionals for the future of logistics.
