South Coast Logistics announced that it has successfully secured planning permission for its pioneering “Inland Port Terminal” in Ballycoolin, Dublin.

This cutting-edge facility, the first of its kind in Ireland, will operate as an Upper Tier Seveso site under the regulation of the Health & Safety Authority (HSA).

The terminal will provide a wide range of integrated services, including storage for over 220 loaded and empty TEUs, tank container lifting, washing, heating, repair, maintenance, and full logistical support—all within one fully compliant and regulated site.

Furthermore, the new Inland Port Terminal is expected to enable the port’s clients, from tank container operators to multinational companies, to take a more proactive approach to stock management, ensuring seamless production and uninterrupted business operations.

This development further cements South Coast’s position as Ireland’s premier provider of versatile, multi-faceted logistical services.
