The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors at its meeting held on October 27, following a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. The company disclosed the decision under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
At the same meeting, the board approved TCI’s unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2026.
The board also approved the issuance of secured, listed and redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) worth up to ₹3 billion (₹300 crore) through private placement, in one or more tranches.
TCI’s Executive Authorisation Committee has been authorised to finalise the terms of the NCD issuance and undertake the necessary steps for their issuance and allotment.
The leadership appointment and proposed fundraising form part of the company’s latest corporate decisions, alongside the approval of its financial results for the reporting period.
