    Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has received a ₹132 crore order for the supply of a rake of BLSS wagons from Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing Pvt Ltd, a joint venture promoted by the company, it said in a regulatory filing on Monday.

    The order, excluding taxes, covers the supply of BLSS wagons along with BVCM wagons. Execution will take place in tranches and is scheduled to be completed by July 2026.

    Touax Texmaco Railcar Leasing is a domestic entity. Texmaco Rail disclosed that the transaction qualifies as a related party transaction, as it is one of the promoters of the joint venture. The company added that the order has been awarded on an arm’s length basis and does not result in any conflict of interest.

    As of September 30, 2025, the company’s order book was valued at ₹6,367 crore. The order announcement comes against the backdrop of a steady financial performance in the second quarter. Texmaco Rail reported total income of ₹1,258.10 crore in Q2, with operating profit at ₹113.34 crore. Profit after tax for the quarter stood at ₹64.63 crore.
