V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority, Tuticorin, has reported a strong 23.30% growth in Furnace Oil cargo handling during April–December 2025, compared to the same period in April–December 2024.

The consistent rise in volumes reflects the port’s robust operational performance, efficient cargo handling systems, and its growing importance in supporting India’s energy needs and industrial logistics ecosystem.
