WEC Lines will introduce a new northbound shipping connection for export cargo moving from Karachi, Pakistan, to major ports in Northwest Europe, with transshipment in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The first sailing will be operated by MSC Benin on voyage IP642A, scheduled to depart Karachi on October 29, 2026.

The service will connect Karachi with Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Le Havre and London Gateway, expanding export connectivity between Pakistan and key European markets.

Under the northbound rotation, cargo will move from Karachi to Colombo for transshipment before continuing to Northwest Europe.

Transit times from Karachi will range from 25 days to Felixstowe to 38 days to London Gateway. Rotterdam will be reached in 27 days, Hamburg in 29 days, Bremerhaven in 31 days, Antwerp in 33 days and Le Havre in 35 days.

The new connection will provide exporters with access to multiple major European gateways through Colombo, supporting trade flows between Pakistan and Northwest Europe.
