Taiwanese shipping line has completed a top management reshuffle with Cliff Pai promoted to president and Feng-Ming Tsai coming onboard as chairman.
Pai, formerly chief strategy officer at the line, has been with Yang Ming for the past 40 years. He takes over from Patrick Tu.
Tsai, meanwhile, is a professor who holds a Ph D in transportation from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He has devoted himself to research in transportation management, logistics management, and intelligent transportation systems, making significant contributions to maritime education in Taiwan.
“With Chairman Tsai’s broad academic background and innovative mindset, complemented by the comprehensive experience of newly appointed President Pai, Yang Ming is set to tackle emerging risks and enhance overall operational performance,” the company stated in a release.
Best known for its containership fleet, Yang Ming also has some bulk carriers in its fleet.
